Community Early Intervention
Center and home-based services are available for children under the age of 3. Children are usually referred by Child and Family Connections
because they are developmentally delayed due to medical or environmental conditions. Risk of substaintial development delay is determined by a qualified Early Intervention team.
Customized family service plans determine the best mix of speech, occupational
and physical therapies. Family training and support can also be provided.

Phoenix Center
Services are available for children who have
been diagnosed with cerebral palsy or other neuromuscular disorders. Traditional therapies such as
speech, physical and occupational are offered, but the Phoenix Center specializes in new rehabilitation
techniques that were recently only offered in Europe.
The TheraSuit is used in conjunction with Universal Exercise Units and highly skilled therapists to
teach new skills in a short period of time that continues to improve after therapy is complete.
The Phoenix Center is located in Mokena and also offers school evaluations and therapy in the school setting.
