
Southwest Community Services, Inc. (SCS), a non-profit organization located in Tinley Park, Illinois, was founded in 1971 and receives support from Community Services Foundation. SCS provides programs for adults who are mentally disabled and children with developmental delays in Cook and Will counties.

Developmental Day Program
The developmental day programs at SCS give each adult the opportunity to achieve their highest level of self sufficiency. Services are available for hearing-impaired individuals. This program is located in Tinley Park.

This program offers case management, clinical and other services for adults with mental illness. Services are available for hearing-impaired individuals. This program is located in Tinley Park.

Children's Programs
The Phoenix Center in Tinley Park offers traditional therapies as well as Pediatric Intensive Suit Therapy, which was developed for children experiencing the effects of cerebral palsy or other neurological disorders. Additionally, the Phoenix Center offers traditional therapies and in-school assessments.

Community Programs
The Bogard program is located in Tinley Park and provides nursing home residents with the opportunity to participate in community activities. Additionally, therapeutic services are available in Tinley Park for community members with neuromuscular disorders or recovering from a severe injury.
