It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home, which is why Community Services Foundation is proud to present The Honored Society, an opportunity for community members to provide financial support and friendship for adults with disabilities. Through this relationship-based sponsorship program, you’ll form long-term connections with men and women in one of CTF Illinois’s (CTF) Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes.
CTF operates 34 CILA homes in south suburban Chicagoland and east Central Illinois. In these homes, individuals reside in their community with 2 – 7 peers, where they work together to learn independent living skills like cooking, cleaning, and money management. While each home has its own unique personality and interests, they all share one thing in common: they can’t wait to form new friendships and deeper connections within their communities!
